Participant Screener

• Create a screener overview
• Create a screening criteria table with key requirements of desired users
• Identify the range or mix of users you want
• Create a screening script for recruiter

Recruit

• Recruit users using the screening script

Tasks

• First, define the main goals of the user test
• Identify tasks that test the goals (tasks include first impression, exploratory tasks, and directed tasks)
• Write tasks for user test, making them scenario based and as realistic as possible
• Plan the user test sequence, starting with easier tasks to build confidence and make people comfortable
• Create a testing schedule (60 minutes sessions are ideal and enable you to test 5 people a day)
